I’m Orlando Kendricks, a passionate author, creative visionary, and the founder of Insight Productions, LLC. My mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire, uplift, and transform communities through meaningful stories, impactful visuals, and intentional publishing. Whether I’m writing children’s books that teach emotional intelligence, producing affirmations for kids and adults, or directing films that challenge stereotypes; everything I create is rooted in truth, legacy, and love.

My Journey

 

 

Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, I’ve always believed in the power of word, and expressing myself through art. From poetry to powerful narratives, my writing reflects lived experience, spiritual depth, and a deep desire to make a lasting difference. I’ve authored almost over a dozen books across genres — from empowering children’s literature to thought-provoking novels — all published under my own imprint, Insight Productions.

 

My books aren’t just stories — they’re tools. Tools for healing, for building confidence, for representation, and for changing how young people (and adults) see themselves. Each book is crafted with intention, whether it’s helping a child understand their emotions, reminding Black boys that they are superheroes, or sharing faith-driven affirmations with fathers and sons.
